I am interested in the way land holds memory and the way our bodies do the same. I explore themes of memory and longing through a drawing process that mirrors weaving. 

I weave with a pen or pencil, making repeated line patterns that form large curved connecting forms. I do this to untangle the experiences wrapped in my own body and mirror the repeated patterns of life that exist around and within me. This is done in an effort to locate myself in the greater patterns of life and to understand the patterns and worlds I contain.
